Publish Your Research to a Network with Millions of Views – Announcing a Numismatic Journal in Association with L5

The editing team of the Ars Nummorum et Eorum Fontium (ANF) journal warmly invites you to submit an article for our first volume, with submissions open through February of 2026. The ANF is a new journal geared towards the publishing of ancient and medieval numismatic articles via a yearly compendium, registered with both DOI and ISSN certification. Unlike existing journals, the ANF does not retain exclusive reproduction rights to articles after publication date, thus returning intellectual ownership rights to authors. Any author who publishes with the ANF is free to distribute their work at will immediately after publication date, including on archive websites such as Academia.edu.

This exciting project is spearheaded by Sam Cowell (University of Vienna PhD Candidate), who will serve as managing editor in chief of the series. Likewise serving as a managing editors are Nick Vaneerdewegh (Conservator of the Department of Coins & Medals of the Royal Library of Belgium), Jack Koziol (American Numismatic Society Advisory Board member), and Nathan Websdale (University of Oxford DPhil candidate). The ANF will be available for free online with each article allotted a dedicated DOI page on the ANF website.

ANF content and articles will likewise be promoted on the L5 website and social media networks. Together these pages have accrued over 5,000,000 views in the last 90 days, and this rate is growing. With intellectual ownership retained, publish your research to millions of potential readers! Submissions are open until March 1st.

See the attached document or visit https://arsnummorum.com/ for more details about the submission process.
