How to Sell at Auction

Selling at an L5 auction is refreshingly simple — with no listing or selling fees you keep your full hammer price, and you stay in control the whole way.

  1. 1

Create your lots in under a minute

Sign in and add each coin yourself: upload photos and video, write a description, note the attribution, pick a category, and set your start price, an optional reserve, and a schedule. You control every parameter — list one coin or an entire collection.

  2. 2

    Wait for approval

Our specialists review every lot before it joins the catalog, checking quality and accuracy so the sale stays first-class. You'll be notified as soon as your lot is approved — or if a small tweak is needed.

  3. 3

    Set a reserve — or don't

Want a safety net? Set a reserve, the minimum price below which your coin won't sell. Chasing maximum bidding energy? List at no reserve and let collectors compete.

  4. 4

Let the community work for you

Approved lots go live and are promoted to L5's global base of serious collectors. An open comment thread and community grading on every lot build buyer confidence — and stronger bids — while our fair-play rules keep the sale honest.

  5. 5

    Ship when the auction ends

Once the sale closes and your coin finds a buyer, simply ship it to the winner. There are no selling or listing fees — the buyer pays the premium, so you keep the full hammer price.

Tip. Documented provenance drives results. Before you list, run your coins through our free Provenance search — a prior catalog appearance can meaningfully lift the final price.
