Note: This issue reflects a turbulent period marked by religious innovation and political instability. Elagabalus, originally a priest of the sun god, attempted to elevate his eastern cult to prominence in Rome, creating tension with traditional Roman institutions. His short reign was characterized by controversy and unrest, ultimately ending in his assassination and replacement by Severus Alexander, signaling a return to more conventional rule.
