Umayyad, AE Fals, Tabarîya mint, circa 110s-120s AH - Scarce

Umayyad, AE Fals (bronze, 3g, 19mm), Tabarîya mint, circa 110s-120s AH

Arabic title: الأمويون، فلس نحاسي، دار ضرب طبرية، حوالي 110–120 هـ

Obv: Surat al-ikhlâs in the field in three lines, in margin lâ ilaha illâ llâh wahdahu lâ sharîk lahu

Rev: muhammad / rasûl / allâh and a palm tree to the right, mint in margin

Ref: Walker 898

Note: Likely struck in the early 2nd century AH under the Umayyad Caliphate, this type reflects the growing standardization of purely epigraphic coinage centered on Qur’anic declarations. The inclusion of the opening of Surah Al-Ikhlas alongside a palm tree adds a rare symbolic element, linking religious text with regional imagery in early Islamic mints.
