An exceptionally sharp Roman Provincial bronze (27mm) featuring the facing busts of Emperor Septimius Severus and Empress Julia Domna. This piece was struck in Marcianopolis under the magistrate Flavius Ulpianus. (Legatus Consularis).

These dual-portrait issues are popular with collectors because they capture the "first family" of the Severan dynasty together.
