Struck at Rome, 317 AD. The portrait shows Crispus, laureate, cuirassed, right. The coin has circulation wear and uneven surface texture; some lettering and fine detail are incomplete.

The reverse reads PRINCIPIA IVVENTVTIS. The young Caesar stands right in military dress, holding a reversed spear and resting his hand on a shield.
