$2 ½ Liberty, 1885, $2½, AU55 , PCGS

From a circulation strike mintage of just 800, the 1885 quarter eagle is one of the most sought after dates in the series. Semi prooflike fields both obverse and reverse with pleasing yellow/orange and slightly deeper tan/gold color about the peripheral devices. A truly pleasing coin with lovely eye appeal. *From The J. Swan 1885 Mint Set*
