Chinese Western Han Dynasty Dancer, ca. 206 BC-220 AD. This is a very large example of a Western Han grey pottery court dancer, beautifully modeled, she lifts her arms in undulating form with her heavy sleeves hanging over her hands. Her robe gracefully drapes at her feet. Scattered earthen deposits and a few scattered chips. Unusually well-preserved for its size. Thermoluminescence analysis completed October 2006. H. 19 1/4"..
