Roman Green Glass Vessel, ca. 2nd Century AD. Provenance: Private Collection, Oregon, acquired 1980s
An elegant pouring vessel with thick rounded lip with single trail applied just below, thin neck tapering downward, body flaring down into a flat bottomed form.
The handle is applied to top of body with vertical fold forming a thumb-rest of sorts. Ex HJB Ltd. BBS 230 (January, 2025), lot 655. H. 3 5/8" (9 cm)..
