Seated 50¢, 1868, 50¢, AU55 , PCGS

Not a particularly low mintage date, but a date where most met their demise in the melting pot during an era when silver coins did not circulate in the East and Midwest. There are just 34 coins total graded in all Mint State grades by PCGS and the AU55 population states 18. Many of those 18 are not coins you or I would care to own...yuck! I saw this and had to own it...just about the prettiest of the date I've seen and a coin both date or Type collectors will love. Stunning eye appeal!
