Liberty Cap Half Cent, 1796, No Pole, ½¢ , 19th Century Copy

Given this collection has the exceedingly rare 1796 With Pole Half Cent, and given the fact the 1796 No Pole is even rarer yet, the collector managed to locate this fairly well done late 19th century copy. Thinly plated, most likely a "museum style" copy to replace a spot in a coin cabinet. Small amounts of the what we assume is the lead core peaking out of the copper plating. From The Chain O' Lakes Collection of Half Cents.
