The reign of Constantius II was marked by religious and political changes that profoundly influenced the Roman Empire. As the son of Constantine the Great, Constantius II continued his father's policies of Christianization, navigating the complexities of the Arian controversy, and striving for unity within the rapidly evolving religious landscape. This coin type, with its FEL TEMP REPARATIO reverse, symbolizes the restoration of times, a propagandistic theme reflective of the emperor's efforts to consolidate and stabilize his rule faced with internal and external challenges.
