Umayyad, Scorpion type, Uncertain Palestinian mint - Rare

Umayyad, Scorpion type, AE Fals (2.1g, 14mm). Uncertain Palestinian mint

Arabic title: الأمويون، طراز العقرب، دار ضرب فلسطينية غير محددة

Obv: Scrorpion, around muhammad rasûl allâh

Rev: Second part of Kalima

Ref: Walker 598

Note: From the late Umayyad Caliphate in a probable Palestinian mint, this type reflects a decentralized phase where local symbolism coexisted with standard religious inscriptions. The scorpion motif is exceptionally rare in Islamic coinage, hinting at regional identity or apotropaic symbolism during a still-fluid monetary tradition.
