Basil II, Anonymous Follis
Lot 745 · Consigned by Sempercoins
Closed
Description
Coin shows a strong face of Christ with some wear on the nose and hair. Much better than the average follis. Hair and mouth detail still visible.
Slightly weak strike on both the obverse and reverse, coin has a very nice patina; the video does this one justice particularly in showing the detail in the face.
Nice coin in hand.
