Roman Empire – Gallienus (AD 253–268) Siscia

Silvered antoninianus of Gallienus, attributed to the Siscia mint (RIC V.1, 576). The coin retains visible traces of its original surface silvering, a desirable feature for antoniniani of this period. Honest circulation wear, with the radiate bust and standing reverse figure still clearly recognisable. An attractive and collectible example of mid-3rd century Roman coinage.
