BITHYNIA. Kalchedon. Circa 367/6–340 BC. Silver Drachm.

Obv: Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the refined late‑Classical style typical of Kalchedon’s coinage.

Rev: Kalchedonian bull standing left on an ear of grain; the ethnic ΚΑΛΧ (or variation) usually appears around, accompanied by symbols or letters depending on the issuing magistrate.

A well‑struck and attractive example of the city’s distinctive silver series, reflecting its prosperity and artistic influence during the 4th century BC.
