500 Pesetas, 1987 and 1994, Aluminium-bronze, VG

Pair of Spanish 500 Pesetas coins dated 1987 and 1994, issued during the reign of King Juan Carlos I. Struck in aluminium bronze, these large-denomination coins were part of Spain's circulating currency before the introduction of the euro.

A nice representation of late 20th-century Spanish coinage and the final decades of the peseta.
