$3 Gold, 1885, $3, MS60 , PCGS
Sold by Harlan J. Berk, Ltd.
Description
A scarcer date issue within the series from a paltry mintage of 800 circulation strikes and 109 Proofs. Really lovely coin for the grade that is a legit Unc. with nice orange-gold color offering hints of pale lilac, prooflike fields and excepionally clean surfaces. Still housed in the old green tag holder. *From The J. Swan 1885 Mint Set*
