Description

Roman Green Glass Unguentarium, ca. 1st-3rd Century AD. Translucent pale green glass with weathering and silvery-white iridescent patches. The vessel is characterized by a slender, elongated neck rising from a gracefully proportioned pear-shaped body and terminating in a rounded to slightly flattened base.
