UK metal-detecting find with full provenance. Discovered in Winchester in 2021 and subsequently held in the Raven Frogg and Liam Kerslake collections. Winchester was a major Roman center (Venta Belgarum), making a late Roman military silver find here historically consistent. The coin retains the original dark soil patina with no harsh cleaning – exactly as found.
